Standard stump grinding removes the visible stump and grinds below grade so the area can be leveled and prepared for lawn or landscaping. If you plan to replant, mention it when requesting your estimate so deeper grinding needs can be discussed.
Established bush bases, surface roots, and large root flares can interfere with mowing, walkways, and landscaping. Grinding or removal is available where appropriate and can be included with a stump project after the site and surrounding features are considered.
Planning to plant in the area? Say so when requesting your estimate. Grinding can go deeper than standard lawn-ready removal when the site and project call for it. Every site is different, and replanting goals should be discussed first.
Work areas are left reasonably clean and manageable, with suitable grindings used for backfill where appropriate. Optional haul-away of excess chips, roots, and grinding debris is available for an added charge when you want the material removed.
